July 26 a gentle breeze welcomed friends of UniPlace to the farm where Pastors Kris Light and Ed Taylor live and garden. Some brought lawn chairs, some stayed in the cars, others found a comfortable spot on the lawn already set up. We shared communion with pre-packaged grapes and crackers, wore our masks and kept to safe distances as we visited and praised God. Our excellent UniPlace musicians were there to offer their gifts to God along with the scripture and preaching. Our next summer outdoor worship services will be at Meadowbrook Park in Urbana. Both August 9 and August 30, we will begin worship at 9:30 am. Stay tuned for more details to come!
