Music

University Place Christian Church has always had a strong music heritage. In fact, it has had one of the most prominent church music programs in the community. The church's Reuter pipe organ and the choirs all have played an important part of the worship experience.

Our Chancel Choir includes the musical talents of church members and University of Illinois students, supported in part by the church's Colvin Fund.  

In addition to the Chancel Choir, the worship service is enhanced by the more contemporary music of the Jubilee Choir, which includes a myriad of instruments, including guitars, flutes, percussion and other musical talents from the congregation and the from the community.

The Chime Choir adds yet another dimension to the music worship.
