UniPlace Questions

Q.  When is worship and what does it look like?

A. At UniPlace, worship is casual with an eccletic mix of traditonal and contemporary music. Worship includes choir and organ, guitars and percussion, hymn singing and sermon. The communion is served weekly. During the worship, there is a brief 'meet and greet' fellowship time.

UniPlace kidsQ. Is there childcare?  What do kids do?

A. Yes! Infant and toddler care is available at every worship service. Children between the ages of 5 and 10 years begin the hour in worship and are dismissed to Junior Church following the Children's Moment with the minister.

clothingQ. What should I wear?

A. The focus is not on what you wear; we want you to be comfortable and focused on worship. If you look around, you will find that the UniPlace worshippers are wearing anything from jeans to business casual to 'Sunday best.'

ChaliceQ. What kind of a church are you?

A. Uniplace is part of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Discover the Disciples by visiting their website. As a moderate, mainstream church founded on American soil, worshippers from a variety of church backgrounds will find something familiar in worship with us. We focus on our call to be the Body of Christ, to worship and server God together. We choose our own minister, own our buildings and assets, and determine our own programs and ministries.

The symbol used by our denomination is the Red Chalice.
