Fisher Chapel is a more contemporary space. Light colored wood, stone floor, and beautiful stained glass windows create an intimate and significant space for ceremonies from any faith tradition. Fisher Chapel seats 80.

The Chapel was finished in 1957 as a part of the Illinois Disciples Foundation. When the Foundation moved in 2008 and sold their facility, the Chapel was deeded to University Place.

The windows are of a different construction than what most would think of as stained glass windows. Rather than colored glass the thickness of window glass and set into lead strips, faceted glass windows are raw, one-inch thick, unpainted glass with deep color and shimmering sparkle. The bold design is created by control of the size and shape of the glasses and the shape and width of the dark matrix of epoxy cement. Faceted windows mosaic of light and can be exciting and vibrant.The Fisher Chapel windows are a joy to see with sunlight streaming though them.
