Public Wi-Fi At UniPlace

Wi-FiUniPlace has had wireless internet (WiF)i in use for some time, but its use was restricted to office and staff use only for security reasons. An additional public WiFi channel has been implemented in the system for use by members and friends of UniPlace. The channel is "public", shown as UPCC_Guest, but will still require a password to log in.

If you would like to request the current password, email webmaster@uniplace.org and the information will be emailed to you. Please include your name with the request so not do delay your receiving the password. Be aware that this will not be a permanent password for the system, as it will be changed periodically. When the password changes, you would need to email a request for the new one, as the information would not be published.

WiFi signal has limitations, especially in a building such as UniPlace. There will be areas of the church facility that will have a weak or even no signal. This is unavoidable and users will quickly learn where they would find a good signal. If there are a significant number of users sharing the signal at one time, the speed and response time will be greatly reduced.
