Friday Advent Concerts

On the three consecutive Fridays beginning December 2, the church will offer musical gifts to the community in the form of a series of short recitals, as well as a free luncheon. At noon on December 2, our soloists Alba Cancel and Phillip Gay, accompanied by Samir Golescu, will present about a half hour recital of some seasonal (and perhaps some non-seasonal) vocal music. On December 9, Richard Hertel will play an organ recital, with guest vocal solist Dee Breeding. On December 16 Samir Golescu will present a brief piano recital. Church members are encouraged to attend, and we especially encourage our members to bring some friends to the event as well. Free food (contributions are accepted) and beautiful music—no one can turn that down! Let’s share the talents of our fine musicians with our co-workers and friends.
